Happy... that Jeff is home for one more Saturday. He knows for certain that next week they will start working Saturdays until April 14th.
Excited...to perhaps order a new hard drive for my laptop. It's been a couple long weeks without it. At first, I thought I really did not need it, but I can see how it really comes in handy! Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
Pleased...that Grace is no longer coughing. She slept well, too. She bounces back quickly from most illnesses. Probably due to all the fruit that girl eats!
Going to...bake a chocolate cake today for a special lunch tomorrow after church.
Annoyed...that my kids talk to me while I am on the phone, still at their ages! This really annoys me!!!
Starting to think... spring is here!

Saw this format at The Non-Consumer Advocate Bog and thought it might be nice to do as well.
We have a snowy, blustery day here in Idaho. But we do have DVD's due at the library, so we might venture out. Then there is church tonight, but that will depend on the roads. :)
ReplyDeleteThe kids laptop died a few weeks back, and I'm trying to figure out how to save up a few bucks and get them a cheap one from Walmart. It really does help with school and all. There was no way to fix the one they had, I would have it there was. I think the kids will pay for part of it this time, helps them 'own' it.
I'm glad Grace is feeling better. I'm kind of thinking we are getting colds here, not sure. Another reason I don't want to go out in this weather.

ReplyDeleteinspired to do some rearranging in the kitchen for the Commercial Bread Slicer we still kept back from the sale of the Bakery Equipment. That thing is huge and taking up room in area it is not welcome.. lol

ReplyDeleteWell, it's Sunday now, but just enjoying a quiet evening with my Jeff while the girls are at a friend's house.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of a funny story...when the girls were very young I taught them to not interrupt mommy on the phone unless there is a fire, someone is bleeding, or someone is unconscience. (I'm seldom on the phone so I didn't think that was too much to ask for). Anyway, once many years ago I was on the phone and Amber inerrupts me, and says, remember when you said ... (and slowly repeats my rules, haha, "well, the field is on fire". Lol, and it was, our dizzy neighbor was burning trash on a very windy day and set the field on fire. Thankfully the fire department got it under control, but not before they plowed down the neighbor's fence with their army tank-like vehicles and many of the other neighbors had congreagated on our back deck to watch. Thankfully, not much of our field burnt, but it was too close for comfort. Evacuation plans kept racing through my head the whole time.
I took a little computer break for a couple of days, although I had my phone for keeping up, just not much responding. Glad you have one last Saturday until the busyness of tax season is under way.
